Michael Heenan - Principal

Michael Heenan is a versatile project designer and Director of AJ+C in Australia. Michael has designed a variety of residential and commercial projects: new suburbs in key transport growth areas; a series of regional airports; Sydney 2000 Olympic facilities including the largest cooking and dining facility in the world; indoor aquatic centre; indoor sports stadium; racing car pit facilities; and the living quarters for the Australian Davis Base Station in Antarctica.

Throughout his career, Michael has applied a detailed analytical and conceptual design approach, coupled with a deep interest and expertise in ecological sustainable development. His strong involvement with China has led to numerous large-scale developments, including a new city in northern China, and large urban design and residential projects.
