Fox Studios is a global drawcard for domestic and international film production. AJ+C played an important role in design components of the development, which comprises professional film studios and offices used for the making blockbuster films as Star Wars and Superman Returns, as well as a retail and entertainment precinct.

AJ+C designed The Paris Cinema building, which forms part of the retail and entertainment precinct. The development includes four ‘art house’ cinemas and 2099m² of retail and office spaces. It was designed as a ‘composition of modern fragments’ to create an animated, pedestrian-scaled streetscape, capturing the character of a traditional 19th century ‘high street’ but using modernist aesthetics to exploit the theatrical possibilities of the billboard, cinema entrance and canopy.
