AJ+C在该项目中与时间展开了竞争- 为世界著名的Bathurst 1000设计全新的赛车设备。项目的完成与揭幕仅仅用了8个月的时间。面向6000万之余的电视观众，所有设备在比赛开始前顺利完工。

赛车活动广泛被誉为世界最高难度的挑战之一，所以该项目对与赛车活动而言，意味着崭新时期的开始。这个400 x 15的建筑为三到五层高，竖立式的服务塔楼强调了分别8个相等的分隔段。

中间层为社团人员与特别观众席，该层由大型的倾斜玻璃封闭。以下一层为车库及汽车修理站，这层在比赛中通常气氛最为浓烈。被玻璃包裹的控制塔高高悬臂在比赛场地之上，为工作及运行人员提供清晰的观望角度。

AJ+C raced against the clock to design new race facilities for the world-famous, Bathurst 1000. Completed and unveiled in just 8 months, the facilities were completed in time for the car race - and a television audience of over 60 million people.

It marked the beginning of a new era for this circuit – widely recognised as one of the most technically challenging in the world. The 400 x 15-metre building of three to five levels is divided into 8 identical metre bays punctuated by vertical service towers.

The mid level caters for corporate suites and special spectators, and is enclosed by a folded glass façade that cants forward over the pit apron. The lower level contains the garages and pit service facilities and is the centre of action during races.
