More than a leading residential development in Australia, The Waterfront integrates residential, retail and recreational facilities to achieve a true community. A total of 2,500 apartments will be built on the Homebush Bay peninsula, of which 2,000 have been - or will be - designed by AJ+C. The Waterfront will be home to 6,000 people, together with a village centre or piazza with restaurants, art gallery, pool, tennis courts, sports lifestyle club. Whilst the core of the practice’s work on this project has been residential, the wider range of our work involved the masterplanning and foreshore landscaping, street signage, finishes on a number of buildings, and the reworking of The Piazza, commercial centre and the sports and entertainment club.
So far, AJ+C has designed and constructed the Pulse lifestyle club and two residential developments: Bellagio, and most recently, Valencia.
